We have kayaks and stand up paddle boards available to rent for guests! It is quite normal to see a dolphin or seal fishing the bay. Ask us how to find the bald eagle nest!
Explore the Shore
Experience Maine’s world famous tides up close! When the water goes out you get a brief glimpse of the ocean bottom. Reminder that the mud can be deep and the sea weed slippery, exercise caution!

Staying in.
Need to get out of your cottage for the night but don’t fancy leaving the park? There are 6 ocean view picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds for a quiet evening out. Every cottage has a fully outfitted kitchen to prepare meals, you just bring the food.

Going out.
Skip the parking hassle downtown! We are conveniently located along the Island Explorer bus route, free to anyone with a valid park pass. If you still wish to drive in we are only 15 minutes from downtown and the park entrance. Skip the line getting off the island!
